Alpha Group Administrators, Inc. (AGA) was formed and began operations in Arizona in June 1990, starting with four group homes and 16 consumers in Phoenix. Our first expansion came during the first few years of operation when we opened three new homes to receive consumers from the Arizona State Hospital. Our goal was to participate in the de-institutionalization of individuals with developmental disabilities and allow them to live and thrive in normalized settings.
In 2000, we added 13 additional group homes, a Day Treatment Facility (now called DTA) and Art Therapy programs. During the next 5 years, AGA became known for expertise in serving clients with dual diagnoses and behaviorally intense diagnoses. We also became a more active and contributing member of our community by sponsoring several local charities and events such as the Annual Homeless Christmas Tree at the Capitol in Phoenix which provides toys to over 500 homeless children at Christmas, and the Annual Ready-Set-Go event in Surprise/El Mirage which provides backpack and school supplies to over 1000 children in the west valley.
In 2006, Bridgett Linnebach took over as Executive Director, and has grown a team capable of creating the best programs and services in the industry. Since then, AGA has added an additional 4 homes in outlying districts, two new DTA programs, expanded HCBS programs, a full educational services program - providing the best in employee training, an administrative staff of well-known and highly respected industry professionals, a strong relationship with our partners from DDD, and a comprehensive system of quality assurance in the homes. Her vision is to provide total excellence in all the services we offer and to ensure that our consumers are offered the best - in their home, their care, their learning, and their opportunities.
Our goal is to provide the most excellent, innovative and creative programming possible. We want to give our consumers the best opportunity to increase their learning and enjoy a better quality of life. We strive to be the leader in our ingenious design and implementation of Behavior Treatment Plans and ISP's and in the overall quality of our services. We believe that the means to accomplish this goal is through the effective growth of a strong, empowered, and fulfilled team of employees.
In addition, AGA has homes in Tucson, Bullhead City, Kingman, Cottonwood and Prescott Valley. Alpha Group Administrators, Inc employs over 260 people, giving them the opportunity to make a life-changing impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. We are always hiring Residential Instructors and Residential Site Managers. See the Employment page for an application.
Currently, we have openings for clients throughout Phoenix and Prescott Valley. We also have openings in our Day Treatment programs in Phoenix, Bullhead City, and Prescott Valley and are accepting applications for next summer's DTT program for school-age children.
